About the game
A score-attack game for iOS and Android where each stage wears a unique cinematic skin — crossing a suspension bridge, opening a door, following a fairy in the woods — but underneath spins a red-or-black roulette. Match the spin to advance; miss it to lose the run. The third outcome, "Green 0", lurks in the wheel: when it lands, neither red nor black saves you.
The Monty Hall problem. The Two Envelopes problem. The St. Petersburg paradox. Counterintuitive probability events are baked into the stage mechanics. Just by playing, you'll feel why "switching is better," "passing is better," or "accepting is better."
Stages (11 in total)
- The Rotting Suspension Bridge (50/50)
- Forked Path Through the Woods (50/50, mist and beasts)
- Three Doors (Monty Hall, rare stay-wins pay double)
- The Two Cabins (50/50 + history)
- The Fairy and the Demon (50/50 + history)
- The Two Chests (Two Envelopes, with a sage's opening monologue)
- The Legendary Sword (50/50)
- The Mouth of Truth (offer for -25% safe passage or wager for x2 or death)
- The Flaming Tower (true St. Petersburg paradox — climb to double the multiplier or burn out)
- Three Fates (boss, three dragon-headed towers, a 1/3 single-shot trial with a x10 multiplier reward)
- The Bayesian Sage (finale, declare yourself from six factions and earn a bonus based on session stats)
Clearing the sage loops the run back to stage 1, carrying the x10 multiplier and the sage bonus into a fresh lap of the cinematic eleven-stage arc.
Global Leaderboard (new in v3.0)
Compete on three axes — best score, best stage, and total runs — across four windows: all-time, today, this week, and this month. Pick a player name on first launch (or hit the "Auto-pick" button to generate one like "Wanderer#1234"). Change it any time from Settings.
Joining the leaderboard is optional. The first time you open the leaderboard screen, the app asks whether you want to take part, and your player name and scores are sent only if you agree. You can leave anytime from "Join leaderboard" in Settings.
On iPhone you can optionally link your Apple ID or Google account, and on Android your Google account, so your ranking carries over when you switch phones or reinstall the app. Linking is optional and all features remain available without it. For what information is collected, see Handling of Personal Information.
In-App Purchases
The full game is free to play. Two optional in-app purchases are available:
- "Remove Ads" ($1.99, one-time, non-consumable): Banner and interstitial ads are completely hidden. Rewarded videos remain available.
- "10 Tickets Pack" ($2.99, consumable): Lets your ticket balance exceed the soft cap of 10 up to a hard cap of 99.
Prices shown are U.S. store prices and may vary by region. Tickets can be earned for free at +3 per day and +1 per rewarded video (once daily). Payments are processed by the platform's native billing system (Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing).
Daily Reminder (since v4.0)
Every evening at 6 PM you get a nudge such as "Time to test your luck today!" It is skipped on days you have already played, and you can turn it on or off any time with "Daily reminder" in Settings. The reminder is scheduled on your device; nothing is sent anywhere for it.
About Ads (since v4.0)
Ads are served by Pangle: a banner at the bottom of the title screen, a full-screen ad after every third game over (never after your first), and video ads only when you choose to watch one for a ticket or a revive. No ads appear while you are playing a stage.
On first launch the app asks whether it may show ads tailored to your interests (personalized ads). No ads are loaded until you answer, and you can change your choice anytime from Settings → Ad settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.
